Shaykh Ali Hani Signs Grammica Ijaza Certificates

How does an Ijaza in Arabic Grammar help me?

1.  Credibility:  Academics and students of knowledge derive immense credibility with an authentic certification of ijaza from a widely recognized institution like Grammica.

2.  Standardization: An ijaza is the most authoritative objective measure of one's comprehension of Arabic grammar based on centuries-old standards.

3.  Third-Party Accreditation: In Arabic grammar, an endorsement from one of the world's foremost tafsir scholars, Shaykh Ali Hani, is the single most powerful accreditation available to any learner.

What is an Ijaza?

An ijaza is a formal authorization from the teacher to the student attesting to the student’s mastery and competence of a certain subject or a certain book.

Traditionally, scholars have given ijazas to their students to preserve authentic scholarship.

Shaykh Ali Hani is a traditional scholar and an expert of the Arabic language.  He has taught hundreds of students across the world. As a master grammarian, he has authored books on grammar, morphology, and the sciences of the Quran.  Shaykh Ali has developed his own unique multiple-stage curriculum in learning classical Arabic.

Our Curriculum

Grammica’s curriculum  is closely structured according to Shaykh Ali’s methodology.  When you study with Grammica and pass the final exam you also receive a certificate of ijaza in Arabic grammar.   This ijaza attests to your competence in the level you studied for.

Grammica’s curriculum is structured on 3 levels:

Essentials:  Learn 80% of the Arabic grammar you need to begin to access Classical Arabic texts.

Intermediate:  Read a Classical Arabic grammar in its original Arabic, learn advanced morphology, and apply these rules to actual texts.

Advanced:  Learn all the grammar you need to know and apply it to read Imam Ghazali’s Ihya ‘ulum al-din.

Intermediate and Advanced classes start September 2nd, 2024.  Essentials starts January, 2025.

Our Program Director, Ustadh Yusaf Bhatti, is offering a FREE consultation to advanced students of knowledge (with a minimum of 1 year of formal study of Arabic).
